Michael Ro joined RIPCO Real Estate as an Associate in November 2025, specializing in retail and hospitality. He advises landlords, developers and retailers nationally with a focus on the greater Tri-State area.
Michael began his career working directly for leading retail developers, including Brixmor Property Group and WS Development. Prior to joining RIPCO, he served as an Associate Leasing Representative at WS Development, overseeing small shop leasing across open-air shopping centers throughout New England. His expertise spans site selection, market analysis, repositioning of assets, and data analytics, giving owners and operators the framework to execute their plans.
Born in Bergen County and raised in Rockland County, Michael brings deep local market knowledge to clients expanding across the Northeast. He also speaks Korean and advises international clients enter into new markets.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance with a concentration in Real Estate Analysis & Development and served as Captain of the university’s Real Estate Case Competition team. He is licensed Salesperson in New Jersey, New York, and Massachusetts, and is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). On his free time, he leads the New Jersey Korean Olympics Basketball Team.
