Joe Simpson

Joe Simpson is a Director of Investment Sales at RIPCO Real Estate Services, focusing on multi-tenant shopping centers and single-tenant net leased assets.

Joe is a North Florida market expert and CCIM’s Legislative Chairman of the North Florida District.  He maintains deep relationships within real estate focused venture capital and real estate private equity.

Joe entered the commercial real estate industry in 2016 working with San Antonio, Texas based developer Hixon Properties Inc., a privately held real estate investment company, specializing in infill development projects and self-storage throughout the Texas Triangle.

Joe began his brokerage career at Marcus & Millichap in 2018, advising on the disposition of multi-tenant shopping plazas throughout the Southeast.  In February of 2021, Joe joined CBRE’s Jacksonville office to co-lead the North Florida, Retail Capital Markets team.

In his early career, Joe worked as a wilderness expedition guide throughout the Americas, teaching a curriculum of leadership and backcountry survival skills.  He’s passionate about family and enjoys spending time with his girlfriend out in nature.
