Benjamin Weiner is an Executive Vice President at RIPCO Real Estate, based in the Manhattan office. Since joining the company in 2014, Benjamin has specialized primarily in the outer borough markets of New York City, developing one of the most active retail leasing practices in Brooklyn, the Bronx, and Queens.

Benjamin represents a select group of national tenants in the outer boroughs, including Target, Best Buy, Chipotle, Shake Shack, and Bob’s Furniture. His tenant advisory work spans site selection, deal negotiation, and long-term expansion strategy. He has transacted with Target across dozens of deals throughout the New York metropolitan area and has been instrumental in executing Chipotle’s rollout strategy across the outer boroughs, securing locations in some of the brand’s highest-volume markets.

On the landlord side, Benjamin represents institutional clients including Urban Edge Properties, L&M Development, Regency Centers, Gazit Horizons, Related Companies, Rockfarmer Properties, and Macklowe Properties, among others. His assignments span anchored shopping centers, large-format urban retail, and mixed-use developments, and his deep familiarity with outer-borough trade areas, demographics, and deal structures makes him a trusted advisor to owners seeking to attract and retain credit tenants.

In 2018, Benjamin was named one of Commercial Observer’s “30 Under 30: The Top Leasing and Sale Professionals of the Year.”

Benjamin is a licensed Salesperson in the State of New York and a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). He is from Northern New Jersey and attended Union College, where he was a two-time captain of the Swimming and Diving Team. He graduated in 2013 as a Minerva Fellow — a distinction that included a year of volunteer service in Uganda, where he taught at local schools and worked on social entrepreneurship projects.
