The wait is over! On October 22, 2023, Manhattan’s newest Target store, located at 10 Union Square East, celebrated their Grand Opening. New York City Mayor Eric Adams and City Council Member Carlina Rivera attended the festivities.
The Union Square Target is conveniently located next to one of the busiest subway hubs in the city on the northeast corner of 14th Street, guaranteeing a large amount of foot traffic. Guests will find a wide assortment of Target’s top-owned and national brands, ranging from toys and essentials to sporting and home goods, at the sprawling 33,000 square foot store. The location includes a CVS pharmacy and offers order pickup and same-day delivery.
Target opened its first store in the Big Apple in 1997, and the Union Square location is Target’s 100th store in the greater New York City area. The retailer operates nearly 2,000 stores nationwide and plans to open 20 more this year — four in New York City.
Congrats to RIPCO’s Vice Chairman Richard Skulnik, who represented Target in this exciting new deal.
