Richard Skulnik, Vice Chairman and Partner at RIPCO Real Estate, joined the firm in 2004. Known for his hard work and ethical approach, Richard has built a strong reputation over more than 20 years in both tenant and owner representation. He has been instrumental in transforming key retail corridors across New York City, including the Lower East Side, Bowery, Meatpacking District, Soho, and West Village.

With extensive experience in landlord representation, Richard has collaborated with prestigious firms like Vornado, SL Green, RXR Realty, Meadow Partners, Magnum Real Estate, Friedland Properties, Dalan Management, The Moinian Group, Rockwood Capital, Jenel Management, the Olnick Organization, Premier Equities, Madison Capital, and Taconic Investment Partners. In addition, he advises single-asset owners, condominium boards and cooperatives. His dedication to fostering long-term relationships benefits both tenants and property owners, enhancing New York City’s retail landscape and beyond.

Richard’s comprehensive knowledge of local submarkets, combined with his strategic insight, has also helped national and international brands expand their presence in New York City. His client portfolio includes prominent names such as Target, TJX Companies, Richemont, Aesop, Vuori, AMI Paris, Jacques Marie Mage, Bimba y Lola, Blue & Cream, KYU Hospitality, VCR Group, and Planta restaurants. Richard has also advised at the national level, introducing brands like Boggi Milano and Bimba y Lola to the U.S. market.

Richard holds a salesperson license and is an active member of the Real Estate Board of New York’s Retail Committee and the International Council of Shopping Centers. He graduated from The George Washington University.
