In 2022, RIPCO Real Estate achieved outstanding success through its long-standing client relationships with renowned national retailers. The firm facilitated notable lease transactions, including a 26,846 SF Home Goods at Airport Plaza in Farmingdale, replacing the former Bed, Bath and Beyond location, and a 21,448 SF Aldi at 75 North Country Road in Rocky Point. RIPCO also played a pivotal role in Sweetgreen’s entry into the Long Island market, securing four new locations in Downtown Garden City, Woodbury Village, Huntington Station and Manhasset for the national fast-casual restaurant chain. Furthermore, RIPCO’s exclusive client relationships with the TJX Companies, Xponential Fitness, Chipotle, Petco and Shake Shack have proven to be instrumental in the successful expansion of these well-known brands, contributing to their growth and strengthening their market presence across Long Island.
Noteworthy retail leasing projects in 2022 include RXR’s mixed-use development, Village Square, located in Downtown Glen Cove, which is now 100% leased. Additionally, RIPCO has successfully secured prominent retailers such as a 112,965 SF Target, Foot Locker, The Paper Store, Claire’s, and Northwell GoHealth for their leasing assignment at Lake Success Shopping Center. Other notable Long Island leasing assignments include prominent shopping centers such as The Gallery at Westbury, Country Pointe Shops in Plainview and Soundview Marketplace in Port Washington.
