Andrew Mandell

Andrew Mandell is a Vice Chairman and Principal at RIPCO Real Estate. He joined RIPCO’s Manhattan office in 1998, and, since then, has been an integral part in growing the office into what it is today.

Andrew leveraged the nearly 20 years he lived in Manhattan’s Upper East Side into an impressive and diverse career, specializing in high-level corporate transactions in Manhattan, retail site selection, marketing strategies and brand expansions. This background and experience enabled Andrew to guide both his landlord and tenant clients into making smart and innovative deals. He led J.P. Morgan Chase’s Manhattan expansion, completing approximately 38 transactions in an 18-month period. As agent for Ceruzzi Properties, Andrew completed a 20,000 SF deal with Old Navy which was a nominee for the 2018 REBNY Retail Deal of the Year.

He has also completed transactions with Tishman Speyer Properties, J.P. Morgan, The Moinian Group, J.D. Carlyle, Atlantic Development, the Dermont Company, The Rudin Organization, Milstein Properties, L&L Acquisitions, Boston Properties, Macklowe Organization, Reckson Associates, Rose Associates, The Related Companies, Princeton Properties, Madison Capital, Empire State Realty Trust, Vornado Realty Trust, and SL Green.

Clients have included Amalgamated Bank, Banco Popular, BFX Fitness, Equinox, Petco, Reebok/Crossfit, Soul Cycle, Target, and TJX Companies.

Andrew served as Chairman of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY)’s Retail Committee for three consecutive years (2015 – 2017). He is a REBNY continuing education teacher and a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. Andrew is a graduate of Brooklyn College. As a huge Grateful Dead fan, Andrew taught himself to play nearly every Grateful Dead song on the guitar.
