Alex Beard

Alex joined Ripco in 2018 as Managing Director and is now a Vice President of our Brooklyn office. His experience spans over 15 years representing Tenants and Landlords in Brooklyn, Manhattan and Queens and he has been influential is expanding the retail corridors in the hyper growth markets of North Brooklyn
and Long Island City, Queens.

His extensive and nuanced knowledge of markets has provided local, national and international tenants with clarity and strategy to meet their growth goals. New York metro market representation has included brand expansion for Oddfellows Ice Cream Co., Scotch and Soda, Butler Bake Shop, Evil Twin Brewery, Rag & Bone, Estee Lauder, Free People, Two Hands and most recently, Gorillas Technologies Inc for their multi location New York City roll out.

He is an investor and advisor to Oddfellows Ice Cream Co. working with them both locally and nationally on brand expansion and strategy. He previously sat on the board of Bibhu Mohapatra, an internationally recognized fashion brand. Alex has represented such landlords as Two Trees, William Macklowe Company, Rose Associates, Sterling Equities, Flank, The O’Connell Organization, Tavros, Charney Construction, Mack Real Estate Group, Slate Property Group and Clarion Partners to name a few.

Alex graduated with a BA in Philosophy from the University of Florida and is a member of ICSC. He currently resides with his wife and three children in Stuyvesant Heights, Brooklyn.
