Commercial real estate veteran Alan P. Miller is a Managing Director at RIPCO, specializing in the acquisition and disposition of investment real estate throughout New York City and the Tri-State area.
With vast experience in NYC real estate spanning four decades in the sale of diverse real estate assets, Alan’s expertise spans the sale of development sites, hotels, residential conversions, office buildings, commercial loft buildings, retail properties, parking facilities, outdoor signage, transferable development rights, as well as inclusionary bonus air rights.
Alan’s career has included the role of co-managing partner at 5 Points Group a boutique investment advisory firm that was based in Soho. Prior to that, he spent over 14 years at Eastern Consolidated where he became a Principal. He also worked at The Carlton Group, Stonehenge Partners and Besen Partners after beginning his career with a 10-year tenure at Lee Odell Real Estate.
Alan is renowned for his encyclopedic knowledge of New York City and its rich real estate history as well as a profound understanding of the market and the players. He has also been a frequent speaker on various real estate panels and is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst with a B.A. in Economics.
