Our team is experienced in new tenant renovation, outparcel construction, building expansion, basement conversions and ground-up construction projects.
Established relationships with leading contractors allow us to efficiently coordinate projects and manage construction costs. We bring extensive relationships with zoning attorneys, architects, engineers, general contractors and subcontractors to ensure projects are on budget and exceed expectations.

Current Development Project
Bellmore, New York for Northwell Health
MetroRipco acquired several buildings in Bellmore, New York, at the intersection of Beltagh and Bellmore Avenues. After securing multiple tenant relocations, the property was leased to Northwell Health under a redevelopment plan to include full exterior renovation and turnkey interior installation.
Construction is underway.

Jonathan Otto, Chairman
Jonathan Otto oversees all aspects of property management and development. His background includes executive level positions in the retail, e-commerce, technology and real estate industries. He served as President of Rock Bottom Stores, Priceline WebHouse Club, RetailDNA and MetroCapital Holdings. Jonathan received his BA from the University of Pennsylvania and his MBA from New York University. He has also served on the Board of Trustees for the Addison Gallery of American Art, NSU Art Museum Fort Lauderdale, 88.3 WBGO Jazz Radio, Tilles Center for the Performing Arts and Northshore University Hospital.
Todd Cooper, Vice Chairman
Todd started Ripco Real Estate Corp. with his partner, Peter Ripka, in 1991. Today Ripco has four offices and 70 associates located in Jericho, Long Island, Lyndhurst, New Jersey, Brooklyn, New York and Manhattan. Todd began his career at Kimco Realty where he served as Vice President of Leasing and oversaw a group focused on the leasing of Kimco’s shopping center portfolio. Todd received his BA from Syracuse University. He has been a member of ICSC since 1985 and pursues many charitable and philanthropic endeavors.
Michael Korff, President
Michael Korff has more than 30 years of experience in the real estate industry in the New York metropolitan area. He has overseen the management and development of more than 1 million SF including tenant leasing, ground-up construction, renovations, risk management, financing and tax certiorari. Michael received his BS in Business Administration from Georgetown University, his Masters in Real Estate from NYU and is a member of the ICSC.
Peter Ripka, Principal
Peter Ripka co-founded Ripco Real Estate Corp. in 1991. He has been instrumental in leasing over 3 million SF of retail space throughout New York City for developers including Forest City Ratner Companies, The Related Companies, Vornado Realty Trust and Equity One. He’s represented many national and regional retailers including Apple, Barneys, Sephora, H&M, Williams-Sonoma and LEGOLAND Discovery Center. Peter has been a multiple winner of the Retail Deal of the Year award from the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY), is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY), and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). He holds a BA from Northwestern University and JD from Hofstra Law School.
Mark Kaplan, Principal
Mark serves as the COO for Ripco, overseeing all day-to-day activities and is responsible for growth of the brokerage business, implementing new initiatives and establishing additional service lines. Prior to joining Ripco, Mark was a Principal of Kabro Associates, a privately-held real estate development and management company. Before joining Kabro, Mark was a large-loan CMBS originator at Credit Suisse. Mark is a co-founder of the Long Island Real Estate Group’s (LIREG) Next Generation Division and is an Executive Board Member. Mark earned his JD with honors from Columbia University where he was named a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and graduated with honors from Tulane University with a BSM in Finance. Mark is a licensed real estate broker and member of the New York State Bar Association.
Jay Feingold, Chief Financial Officer
Jay Feingold has more than 15 years experience in public accounting and private sector financing and has served as the company’s Chief Financial Officer since 2006. Before joining MetroCapital Realty, Mr. Feingold held the position of Senior Audit Manager at Deloitte & Touche, LLP in New York. He is a graduate of Florida State University and holds an active CPA license in the states of Florida and New York.
