Sam Hartstein

Sam Hartstein is an Executive Managing Director at RIPCO Real Estate, after joining in 2023. He is based in the company’s Queens office and focuses nearly exclusively on the New York City outer borough markets with a major focus in the Bronx.

Sam entered the real estate industry in 2012 on the residential side of the business, renting hundreds of units throughout the NYC boroughs. From 2015 to 2018, he was involved in the sale of numerous multi-family properties in Brooklyn, Manhattan and the Bronx, including one of his most recent transactions as sole broker on 110 Mt Hope Place, a 54-unit multi-family building in the Bronx.

In 2018, Sam founded Gemstone Realty Group. He began to specialize in the not-for-profit sector, partnering with notable organizations such as St. Joseph’s Hospital of Yonkers, Services for the Underserved, Bronxworks, and Institute for Community Living, amongst others, to secure space for these clients. He has facilitated transactions with notable landlords in NYC such as Friedland Properties, Red Apple Group, Comjem Associates, Olmstead Properties, and Atlantic Development Group.

Sam is a Real Estate Broker licensed in New York and Georgia and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. He resides in New York with his wife and family.
