Peter has been an advisor to property owners, developers, and retailers throughout New York City since 2003, known for helping clients maximize long-term asset value through creative leasing strategies, deep local market insight, and strong relationships across the industry.

He represents many of Brooklyn’s most prominent landlords, best-in-class retail operators, and emerging brands He has represented: Blue Apron, Brooklyn Gin, Four&Twenty Blackbirds, Widow Jane Distillery, Brooklyn Mills, House of Wonder, D.S. & Durga, One Girl Cookies, among others. He has negotiated some of the more significant transactions in Brooklyn, ranging from high-street creative retail boutiques to flagship centers, including Electrify America’s recently signed East Coast flagship at 27 Bridge Street, in DUMBO.

Previously he was responsible for all commercial leasing at The Moinian Group, where he was involved in some of the city’s most significant transactions, including the Y&R sale and lease at 3 Columbus Circle, and the NBA Store’s flagship retail lease at 545 Fifth Ave.

Prior to entering commercial real estate, Peter spent ten years in finance, most recently as a VP at Bear Stearns & Co. Peter earned an MBA from The Wharton School of University of Pennsylvania and his bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Davis. He has also served as an adjunct professor at New York University’s Schack Institute of Real Estate.

A longtime advocate for New York City’s neighborhoods and local philanthropy, Peter has served on the boards of a number of civic and cultural organizations, including the Center for an Urban Future, Brooklyn Historical Society, Brooklyn Children’s Museum, Concordia Conservatory, and the Board of Governors of the Real Estate Board of NY. Peter is a veteran, having served in the US Army as a Combat Medic and training sergeant. He is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.
