Melissa Montemuino joined RIPCO’s New Jersey office in 2017, specializing in retail leasing, sales, and mix-use development by using thorough market analysis and knowledge transitioned into commercial real estate after a decade of working as an art and design educator.
With creativity and focus, Melissa helps owners and tenants maximize their space and retail capabilities through unique marketing strategies and build-out consultation. She represents both tenant and landlords throughout New Jersey with a main emphasis in downtown markets such as Newark, Kearny, Jersey City, Montclair, and Hoboken.
Born in Brooklyn and raised in Newark, New Jersey, Melissa has a passion for inner city revitalization. She continues to reside in Newark and is active in the community. Speaking Spanish and Portuguese fluently has enabled Melissa to develop strong relationships and build an extensive network of retailers and owners.
Melissa is a member of International Council of Shopping Centers, has a BFA in Interior Design.
