Jake Weiss

Jake Weiss is an Associate Director in the Debt & Structured Finance group at RIPCO Real Estate, where he focuses on analysis, due-diligence and execution of the team’s debt, equity, and structured finance transactions.

Prior to joining RIPCO, Jake was a Client Services Manager at RKW Residential, a market-leading property manager & commercial real estate services firm in the Southeastern US. During his time at RKW, Jake worked closely with multifamily brokers, owners, and developers to support the firm’s underwriting, due-diligence, and execution support to expand RKW’s management portfolio. At RKW, Jake’s leadership qualities and acumen were quickly recognized by senior management, which led to him being tagged by regional leadership to quarterback many ad-hoc projects for the firm’s various other business initiatives.

Leading up to RKW, Jake worked in the front office of the Miami Marlins, a major league baseball team. As part of the Marlin’s sales and marketing department, Jake regularly exceeded 100% on Marlins corporate performance measures, as well as achieving a 166% hustle score, the 4th highest in the franchise’s corporate history. Furthermore, Mr. Weiss earned his bachelor’s degree from The University of Miami (“UM”), however prior to transferring to UM, he was a baseball player on scholarship at Eastern Michigan University, a Division One school in the MAC Conference.
