Chad Atwood serves as Director of Retail Investment Sales for RIPCO Florida, specializing in the sale of retail properties throughout North Florida and the Southeast U.S. With over 20 years of commercial real estate experience, Mr. Atwood has represented and navigated clients through all aspects of the commercial investment process. Chad’s specialization includes asset underwriting, market positioning, portfolio management, cash-flow analysis, acquisitions and dispositions.
Prior to joining RIPCO, Mr. Atwood served as a Senior Vice-President of the top investment brokerage team in Jacksonville, FL. Since Chad’s inception with a national firm in 2012, he and his team have successfully transacted more than a quarter-billion in multi-tenant retail and net-lease investments. Additionally, Chad was recognized amongst the company’s top 25 ranked multi-tenant retail agents nationwide by 2014.
Mr. Atwood commenced his real estate focus in 2001 and created a real estate investment company which focused on capital raising, client representation, acquisitions, project management and dispositions. Upon Chad’s relocation to FL in 2004, he served as a sales executive representing a national developer in the sale of pre-construction resort communities. Chad has transacted commercial assets throughout the eastern U.S. and has held active licenses in Florida, Tennessee and Ohio.
Chad is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and is also a CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) candidate. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business from Wittenberg University in 2002.
