Casey Egan is a multifamily investment specialist in RIPCO’s Elmwood Park, New Jersey office and he represents buyers and sellers of multifamily and mixed-use properties in Northern New Jersey.
Casey joined RIPCO in 2022 after spending 9 months with Progress Residential, the nation’s largest owner of single-family homes. While at Progress, he gained insights as to how institutional investors secure funds, analyze and acquire investments, and operate large scale asset oversight. At Progress Residential, Casey was head of outreach for SFR portfolio acquisitions where he sourced over $3.5bb in unique single family rental opportunities for the company. Although it was great learning experience, he ultimately decided to return to what he is most passionate about – which is multifamily brokerage and advisory in Northern New Jersey.
Prior to Progress Residential, Casey spent 4.5 years at Marcus & Marcus and Millichap where he contributed to sourcing and closing over $54mm in multifamily properties and over $20mm in multifamily loans. To date – Casey has experience closing deals in 13 municipalities spanning over 5 counties which has giving him a firm understanding of how to get deals done in various markets across the northern part of the state. Casey works exclusively with both buyers and sellers assisting and advising them during acquisition and disposition opportunities.
Where Casey separates himself from his competitors is his genuine advisory services, his data driven approach, and his unmatched work ethic. By detaching himself from the sale of an asset, Casey is able to offer clients a refreshing opportunity to sit and discuss where the market is for their property, what owners can do to increase and protect their net worth, and what choices owners have at their disposal to help them achieve their ideal future. Through his deal experience, access to resources, ability to work with other, and through studying comparable sales over the past 20 years, Casey has been able to accurately speak to and understand how different cycles have affect different markets and what owners can do to position themselves in the best possible way.
Casey received his bachelor’s degree from Seton Hall University & is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in New Jersey. When he is not working on deals or sharpening his craft, Casey can be found practicing mixed martial arts, coaching wrestling at his old high school Seton Hall Prep, watching baseball, and enjoying time with his friends and family.
